The Consumer Product Safety Commission recently recalled a boat-shaped children’s bed with a built-in toy chest that caused the death of a 22-month-old child. The CPSC said the beds posed a hazard because the lid supports on the toy chest fail to prevent the lid from closing too quickly. See our Safety blog for more details on this recall.
