Starting Sunday, January 13, my colleagues and I will cover all the news and events happening at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. We look to be especially busy this year with new model and technology unveilings that should rock the automotive world over three media preview days.
As in the past, you can count on the CR Autos team to deliver the news, as well as vehicle previews and exclusive "CR Takes" on what’s coming. We’ll look over what the automakers are touting as the "next best thing" and give you our unabashed opinion, without fear or favor. Naturally, the ultimate reality check will be how the wheels turn on our track when we buy one, but, for now, we’ll share our insights and first impressions.
The auto show coverage can give car buyers a valuable peek at the machines coming down the road, helping inform purchase timing and guiding research. For enthusiasts, the Detroit show delivers the hottest, most leading-edge vehicles that the auto industry will be talking about for the next year.
For a taste of what’s to come, check out our Detroit auto show preview. When the doors open on Sunday, January 13, the live coverage begins. We’ll be uploading photos, text, and even video from the field. Plus, the CR Cars blog will post anecdotes, insights, and observations during the show, both day and night.
It should be a great event. We hope you join us online!
—Mike Quincy and the CR Cars team
