Ford is recalling close to 15,000 2011 Ford Edge, Lincoln MKX, Ford F-150, F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 vehicles due to a problem with the electrical system, which could cause an internal short. If this occurs the vehicle may overheat and lead to a fire.

Dealers will replace the body control module free of charge. The recall is expected to begin by January 10th.
