Suzuki is recalling 32,291 four-cylinder Grand Vitara SUVs and SX4s for a problem that could cause the cars to lose power steering, the alternator, engine cooling and air conditioning.

On these models built from 2009 to early 2011, the engine accessory belt tensioner pulley has a defective spring that could break and cause the belt to lose tension and even come off.

The models include 2009-2011 four-cylinder Grand Vitaras produced before Oct. 17, 2010, and all 2010 and 2011 SX4s produced before Oct. 14, 2010. Suzuki will begin notifying owners by Feb. 16. For more information, contact Suzuki at 887-697-8985.
