Garmin users can now opt to be guided to the dark side, or any other terrestrial address by the voice of Darth Vader, complete with heavy breathing.

Announced today, the downloadable Darth joins the only slightly less evil voices of SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora the Explorer, and Squirrely the Squirrell already available from Garmin to guide you on your merry way.

True to character, the navigational version of Mr. Vader advises with guidance like “Proceed as indicated, don’t make me destroy you”, and “Go straight on, the Emperor awaits.”

Moonlighting as a native guide apparently suits Darth, who along with other Star Wars characters already offers his services for competing TomTom devices.

Available for download on the Garmin website, their version costs $12.99, and includes a Star Wars fighter vehicle icon to display on the map screen as you drive.
