Volkswagen will introduce an updated version of its swoopy CC at the Los Angeles Auto Show later this month.

The four-seat sedan has a coupelike roofline that compromises functionality compared with a traditional sedan. The new model has a more prominent large, square grille to make it look more like the new Passat, along with blockier tail-lights á la the freshened Eos convertible.

The updated version will go on sale in the spring as a 2013 model.
