Average gas prices--February 27, 2012

Gas prices jumped up considerably around the country in all areas compared to the week before. The national gasoline average is $.34 above the price this time last year. Diesel fuel is about $.34 above this time last year. Premium fuel is $3.98, up about eleven cents from last week.
