Tips on cell service savings, including going prepaid

As household budgets continue to tighten, more cell phone owners are looking to trim costs—including shifting service to prepaid plans that can cut costs.

Our colleagues at the Consumer Reports Money Adviser recently pulled together a one-stop compendium of all of our advice on prepaid phone service and other possible ways to reduce your cell phone bills.
