iPad: Our team of expert testers speak out
Apr 3, 2010 7:43 PM

We've spent our first full day with the Apple iPad. Putting aside all the biased buzz and excitement from Apple fans and techie gear-heads, our experts really wanted to get to the heart of the matter.

As we said in our previous video blog, our testers focused on many things. But in particular:

  • How does the iPad work as a e-book reader, like the the Amazon Kindle?
  • What's it like typing on the large touch-screen's keyboard?
  • Does it play games?
  • What do digital movies and videos look like?

So what did our panel of technicians and engineers reviewing these aspects of the iPad have to say? Take a look at our video, iPad: First Tests, at right and hear it straight from our panel of testers and engineers. (More details from their written notes are here: Apple iPad: What our labs tests have uncovered so far.) And feel free to weigh in below about what else you'd like to know about the Apple iPad.
