Who'd have thought a movie about the founding of Facebook would sorta give you goosebumps? But here it is, the first full trailer of "The Social Network," and I'm intrigued.
OK, so the goosebumps mainly came from the music playing during the trailer (embedded at the end of this post), a choral version of Radiohead's song Creep. But the movie does promise courtroom action, romance, dorm-room parties, lots of status updates, and accusations of privacy violations. (Here's how to protect yourself from privacy violations on Facebook.)
"The Social Network" stars a remarkably Mark Zuckerberg-like Jesse Eisenberg as the Facebook chief and Justin Timberlake as Sean Parker, who co-founded Napster and was Facebook's president. It was written by Aaron Sorkin ("The West Wing") and directed by David Fincher ("The Curious Case of Benjamin Button"), and is due out in October.
