The largest HDTV Consumer Reports has tested recently measure 60 inches diagonally. Too small? Well, there's Panasonic's 152-inch 3D plasma TV. Still too small? Then how about an HDTV with a screen that measures nearly 216 feet diagonally?

This monster of a 720p LCD HDTV was recently unveiled at the Charlotte Motor Speedway in North Carolina by the racetrack officials and NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Dale Earnhardt, Jr.

The set, composed of 158 Panasonic LCD panels lit by 9 million LED lights, took up to 57 men more than 4 months to construct along the raceway's backstretch between Turns 2 and 3. Despite its large dimensions (200 by 80 feet for 16,000 square feet of screen and a total weight of 332.5 tons), the display was still sharp enough for avid video-gamer Earnhardt, Jr., to do a little virtual on-screen racing (see video below).

The screen makes its debut with race fans attending the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race on May 21. If you're at the Charlotte Motor Speedway for that race or any other event, tell us what you think of the quality of the video from the gigantic HDTV.
