Today Apple announced that it sold more than four million iPhone 4S phones over the past weekend. Apple also said that more than 25 million consumers are using its mobile operating system iOS 5, and that in addition, more than 20 million customers have signed up for the new service iCloud, which offers wireless storage for your content, that can also be shared with your electronic devices.
We have the new Apple iPhone 4S in house: You can check out our initial impressions in our First Look review. One thing our engineers have found is that the iPhone 4S is faster than the iPhone 4, especially when launching applications and Web pages.
You can also read more about Why you should—or shouldn't—buy the iPhone 4S. It all depends on what you want and need in a phone. For example, one con is that the screen is still only 3.5 inches, while many newer phones have 4-inch screens. And a pro: The new iPhone 4S has an 8-megapixel camera (compared to 5 megapixels in the previous iPhone).
