Koss Striva Pro headphones, first to use Wi-Fi, tested in CR labs
Aug 22, 2012 11:00 AM

The Koss Striva Pro are the first wireless headphones to use Wi-Fi transmission, which gives them a longer range—a claimed 300 feet—than Bluetooth and RF, the other wireless protocols used in headphones, can provide. And when in range of a Wi-Fi hotspot, they can receive streamed proprietary Internet radio channels.

Our audio experts recently tested the Koss Striva Pro. And in this video, technician Jeremy Wright discusses our findings. Take a look to see the features of the headphones, along with their pros and cons—and at $450, why you might (or might not) want to buy them.

If you're in the market for new headphones, see our free headphones buying advice at ConsumerReports.org.
