Although many electronics products get great sales prices on Black Friday, digital cameras tend not to be as discounted as other categories. Part of the reason is that many new cameras are introduced in late summer and early fall, so stores aren't ready to slash their prices just yet. The good news for Black Friday camera shoppers: Retailers may be looking to unload some older models.

For those looking to buy a point-and-shoot or advanced camera as a gift for the holidays, we found four very good deals at Best Buy, each of which can save you $100 or more:

• Nikon D7000 with 18-105mm VR lens, $1000 (normally $1300)


• Canon PowerShot SX260 HS, $200 (normally $300)


• Canon PowerShot Elph 110 HS, $130 (normally $230)


• Nikon Coolpix P510, $300 (normally $400)

Other digital-imaging products are discounted for Black Friday as well. We found several printers on sale. At Best Buy, the HP Deskjet 3050, normally $80, is selling for $40. And at Staples, we found two wireless printers: the Brother MFC-J825dw Wireless All-in-One will go for $90 (normally $150), and the Canon MG6220 Wireless All-in-One for $60 (it's normally $150).

We also uncovered some pretty good deals on digital-imaging accessories. For example, at Staples, you can buy either Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 or Adobe Premiere Elements 11 for $50 (normally, they cost between $80 and100). At Best Buy, you'll find SanDisk Ultra memory cards for your camera or camcorder at very inexpensive prices too:

• SanDisk Ultra 8GB SDHC memory card, $7 (it's normally about $13)


• SanDisk Ultra 16GB SDHC memory card, $10 (it's normally about $17)


• SanDisk Ultra 32GB SDHC memory card, $18 (it's normally about $37)
