Like other vinyl flooring,
Lumber Liquidators' Tranquility resilient vinyl flooring can be installed over
a wood subfloor on any level of the house. The 4x36-inch preglued
planks come in seven colors (mahogany is shown), cost 89 cents to $1.29 per square foot,
and are backed by a 25-year warranty. Lumber Liquidators says the flooring is water resistant, making it a good choice for the kitchen or bathroom. Tranquility flooring is available at Lumber Liquidators retail locations but not on the company's Web site.
At the Builders' Show, Lumber Liquidators also demonstrated its free Floor Finder iPhone app, which allows you to view flooring samples, check out specs and installation requirements, and get current flooring pricing.
