Tip of the Day: Don't turn your old TV into a tip-over hazard

If you recently bought a new high-def television and moved your old cathode-ray-tube clunker of a set elsewhere, the advice below could help prevent an accident at your home.
Consumers often place their old CRT TVs atop dressers and other pieces of furniture that kids can easily climb upon, causing the TV to tip forward and fall over, according to Don Mays, senior director of product safety and technical policy for Consumers Union.
