Claim Check: Can the Ove Glove Hot Surface Handler stand the heat?

Given the claim by its manufacturer that it can handle temperatures up to 540°F, we decided to subject the Ove Glove Hot Surface Handler to some high-temperature and flame-exposure tests.
You'll have to read our review of the Ove Glove ($14 to $19) and watch the video here to see how well this high-tech pot holder made with Nomex and Kevlar worked. But let's just say the Ove Glove would probably find a spot in the White House kitchen of President Harry "If you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen" Truman were he alive today.
