When considering changes we'd like to see in credit cards, a new rewards scheme is not near the top of our list. But recently Chase offered consumers a novel twist.  Chase’s new Ultimate Rewards program offers the user one percent back, in cash or points, for every dollar charged on a Chase Freedom or Chase Sapphire card. The points never expire, which at least makes Ultimate Rewards somewhat more straightforward than others.
