We asked our Facebook fans whether Starbucks' recent announcement that it will sell mugs made in the U.S.A. would make them more likely to patronize the Seattle coffee giant.
Although most Facebook respondents answered yes (319 out of 668 who had replied as of 11 a.m. morning), 252 said the move doesn't make a difference to them, and 97 noted that they are not more likely to grab a caramel macchiato or an iced vanilla latte from Starbucks.
Buying American is important to Consumer Reports readers. The overwhelming majority of respondents to an earlier poll about American-made products said that it was.
