Sensio slow cookers, sold at Kohl’s, recalled for fire hazard

The recall involves the Bella Kitchen model WJ-5000DE 5-quart programmable slow cooker with date codes 0907 or 0909. They were sold exclusively at Kohl’s Department Stores from July through December 2009.

If you own one of these recalled cookers, the CPSC advises that you stop using it, make sure it's unplugged and contact Sensio for a full refund. Sensio can be contacted by phone between 8:30 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. CT on weekdays at 888-296-9675, or by visiting the company’s website.
