A small number of Lexus GS 350 sedans are being recalled by Toyota Motor Corp. according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. A problem in the luxury car's electronic steering control unit may cause the steering wheel to become off-centered in parked Lexus GS350.
A safety recall has been issued for 2010 Jeep Wrangler sport-utility vehicles. Nearly 68,000 of the popular SUVs can catch fire due to a flaw in the design to protect the Wrangler's automatic transmission, warns the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
Honda has recalled 52,615 of its 2007-2008 Acura TL sedans because over time, the power steering hose can deteriorate and develop a fluid leak, leading to a loss of power steering assistance.
Ford Motor Company is recalling its 2012 Ford Focus sedans due to a fault in the car's windshield wiper system, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). More than 140,000 Focus sedans are missing seals in its windshield washer motor wirings, which may result in passenger side wiper motor failures. The reduced visibility can increase the risk of a collision, said NHTSA.
Honda plans to recall 2002-2004 Honda CR-V and 2003 Honda Pilot SUVs next month. According the company, about 554,000 of the Honda sport-utility vehicles have wiring faults that may fail to to turn on the front low beam headlights.

More than 14,700 of the Hyundai hybrid vehicles have rear center seat belts which fail to meet federal safety standards. However, Hyundai believes it doesn't need to fix the seat belt issue with all Sonata hybrids—or notify all affected Sonata owner, as required by the usual federal safety recall procedures.
Subaru of America is recalling 275,000 Forester vehicles. The 2009 to 2012 model years of the Subaru Forester SUVs have rear center seat belt systems which do not meet federal safety standards and could inhibit the proper installation of child safety seats, said the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
About 3,633 of General Motor's 2012 Buick Regal sedans are being recalled for parking lights that fail to activate when drivers turn on the vehicle's headlight switch. Nissan North American is recalling about 8,120 Infiniti M45 luxury sedans, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Chrysler has issued a recall notice for nearly 210,000 Jeep Liberty SUVs sold or operated in the so-called "salt belt" states of the U.S. According to Chrysler, the rear suspension of the Jeeps may corrode and break after excessive exposure to winter road salt. Failure of the rear lower control arms may cause a loss of vehicle control and increase the risk of a collision.
The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and Nissan North American has issued a recall warning for 2003-2005 model year Infiniti Q45 cars. The luxury sedans may have electrical wiring that, over time, may develop a resistance which prevents the front seat-mounted side air bags from deploying during a collision.
Nissan North America is recalling more than 23,500 of its 2011 and 2012 model year Nissan Quest minivans. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, there is a software problem with the recalled minivans' fuel systems that could cause the vehicles to stall, increasing the risk of a collision.
